Gerald Martin - 3740 Union Terrace Lane, Plymouth - I do not see the reason for taking a logical use, supply yards, out of a logical area. Mr. Lloyd Schnelle - We just could not define supply yards, so we took it out of the rural industrial area. Wes Bulen - 16600 St. Francis Blvd. - By your wording, you are eliminating potential businesses from coming into the area. Darryl Fults - 15410 Barium St. N.W., Ramsey - You recently founded an organization to bring business into the City. The more restrictions you create, the tougher it will be to get these businesses in. Commissioner Dunn - Unwise use of land will also cause residents of City to deal with a premature need for sewer. Jack Menkveld - 2207 7th Ave., Anoka - Put the restrictions on the quantity of water, not water itself. Commissioner Dunn - P&Z recommended water useage control some time ago, and I think we should follow that recommendation. Clayton Berg - Who is going to go around checking water meters and what do we do when we find a business in violation? Bob Muller - Bob's Super Valu - As a businessman in the affected area, I would have no objection to applying for a variance to operate my business. Stephen Schmidt - 5420 173rd Ave. N.W. - I have businesses in other communities which abut residential areas and we operate under conditional use permits and have had no problems. Chairman Peterson informed Wes Bulen that if his golf course goes through, he will need a variance to operate a coffee shop. Commissioner Dunn - According to the wording, any quantity of domestic water useage would be considered suitable. Public hearing adjourned at 8:20 P.M.
