I
I
i
I

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I

J. STEPHEN SCHIIqlD T
P.O. BOX 71
ANORA, MINNESOTA 55303

Page -7-

4)EST/IETICS

As can be seen from our illustration, I plan a top drawer center.
The architect, Jay Johnson, designed our modest remodeling of our
Ramsey Bank Office, he designed our prize-winning 7th Avenue Drive-In
in Anoka, and our interior remodeling of our main bank building. We are
proud of his work, and know it would be a credit to the City of Ramsey.

5) CONSTRUCTION

Of course with the vagaries of financing being what they are, no timetable
may be set for this project. We would hope to start within 1982. I have
always employed local contractors and would do so again.

6) EMPLOYMENT

Nearly all of the employees of our businesses would be from Ramsey. Retail
businesses employe clerks, stock persons, janitors, maintenance people
from the younger, higher unemployment group. Our present businesses are
continually receiving applications from the thousands of people who live around
Hwy 47 and 167th and have no other local employment opportunities.

7) NO MORE TRAFFIC NEEDED

The fact is, this center need not generate any additional visits to the inter-
section of Hwy ~7 and 167th. Just the 10,000 visitors now coming to the existing
stores and utilizing the added variety offered by the new businesses through a
300 ft. detour will be sufficient to make this center viable.

THE DECISION IS YOURS

Respectfully Submitted,
