Box 115 313 Washington Street Northfield, MN 55057 Dear Mr. Isberg: Please be advised that the Ramsey City Council approved your'firm to prepare for us planning advice and consequences relating to the proposed commercial developments at the intersection of 167th Avenue ~ and Highway #47 in the City of Ramsey. I believe that, based on our conversation on November 17, 1981, you will have the location information and the proposed use of these sites in mind. The Council also authorized an expenditure of $875 on this project and it is my understanding that including, our meeting on November 17th, you will expend 25 hours at a rate of $35 per hour. We would like particularly your opinion as to the effect of the pro- posed rezonings on our existing 1990 urban area. Also, in anticipation that the Council will want to grant the rezonings, will you please make specific recommendations as to what type of rezoning should be granted. For example, should special zoning such as zoning only for a grocery store be granted and/or should we be thinking of a PUD concept for either or both of the projects. If, in addition to the above information as well as that which we dis- cussed on November 17th, you require more City data to complete this task, please contact either myself or Mr. William Goodrich, Ramsey City Attorney, Finally, there is some urgency to the completion of your work, as the City Council will be meeting on December 22, 1981 and we would like to act on both applications at that time.
