NW: Background Information: Mr. Lehn is requesting a conditional use permit to operate a private kennel at his residence at 17540 Nowthen Blvd. NW. The City Code allows for two (2) dogs per residence and more than that requires a conditional use permit. The following items are included as enclosure (D3-b) for your review in acting on this case: a) Applicant's application b) Notice of public hearing c) List of individuals notified d) Copy of the % section sheet showing applicant's property e) Public hearing minutes dated October 6, 1981 f) Proposed findings of fact as adopted by the Planning and Zoning Commission in their action g) Planning and Zoning Commission regular meeting minutes dated October 6, 1981 h) Proposed conditional use permit as recommended by Planning and Zoning Commission Council Action: Your action on this case will be as follows: a) Findings .of Fact - Approve/disapprove/amend the findings of fact.. Please refer to enclosure (D3-b) which contains the findings of fact, the public hearing minutes on this case, and the Planning and Zoning meeting minutes which took the action to forward this case to the City Council. The following motion is hereby submitted for your consideration in taking action on this item: ~ ~ Motion by Counc~lmember ~ ~ and seconded by Councilmember ~~ ---~~ve/disapprove/amend the findings or ~act as submitted by the Planning and Zoning Commission on October 6, 1981 to the City Council regarding Mr. William Lehn's, 17540 Nowthen Blvd. NW, request to have a conditional use permit for a private dog kennel at his residence at the above address. (If Council disapproves the findings of fact, you will need to state reasons for disapproval. If you amend the find- ings of fact, it ~ill have to ~ed in this motion.) Motion carried. The Planning and ~.oning Commission, at their regular meeting of October 6, 1981, recommended granting approval of it. Please refer to above enclosure for their minutes.
