CASE ~5: <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Rezonin~ from R-1 to B-1 - Approve/disapprove of Mr. Julian <br />Schmidt's request to rezone a 5+ acre parcel of land from <br />R-1 to B-lo Council will have to do this by ordinance and <br />it will require a 4/5 vote to adopt the ordinance for rezoning. <br />Please refer to enclosure (D3-~c) for the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission meeting minutes Which did not recommend approval <br />of it. The following proposed mo%ion is hereby submitted for <br />your consideration in acting on this case: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember and seconded by <br />Councilmember to approve/disapprove of <br />Mr. Julian Schmidt's request to rezone Plat 89211, <br />Parcel 8850 from R-1 to B-1 for a shopping center. <br />(If Council disapproves, you will have to substitute <br />appropriate language for it.) It is further directed <br />that Ordinance #81- be adopted to rezone the above <br />property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes <br />Voting no <br /> <br />MR. WES BULEN'S REQUEST TO REZONE HIS PROPERTY FROM R-1 TO B-1 FOR A <br /> <br />GOLF COURSE: <br /> <br />Background Information: The following information is hereby submitted <br />as enclosure (D3-d) on Mr. Wes Bulen's request to rezone from R-1 to <br />B-1 to allow him to construct a golf course and clubhouse on his property: <br /> <br />a) Application to rezone <br />b) Mr. Bulen has not submitted any plans as of this time <br />c) Notice of public hearing/List of individuals notified of hearing <br />d) Council minutes dated August 18, 1981 <br />e) Planning and Zoning Commission minutes dated September 1, 1981 <br />f) Public hearing minutes dated October 6, 1981 <br />g) Findings of fact as adopted by the Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> and recommended to Council <br />h) Planning and Zoning minutes dated October 6, 1981 recommending <br /> approval of the rezoning from R-1 to B-1 for a golf course <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be as follows on this case: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Findinqs of Fact - Approve/disapprove/amend findings of fact <br />by motion. Council should review the contents of enclosure <br />(D3-d), particularly the findings of fact and Planning and <br />Zoning Commission minutes dated October 6, 1981.
