Commission Business <br />Motion by Commissioner VanScoy, seconded by Commissioner Nosan, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Ordinance #16-03 establishing a wetland/storm water pond setback of sixteen and <br />a half feet (16.5') and establishing a minimum lot depth standard for all newly created residential <br />lots. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson Bauer, Commissioners VanScoy, Nosan, <br />Andrusko, Brauer, and Maul. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Levine. <br />5.06: Consider Revised Survey for The COR Development Plan. <br />Presentation <br />Community Development Director Gladhill presented the. Staff Report stating in 2015, the City <br />Council and Planning Commission directed Staff to prepare a survey for Boards and <br />Commissions related to The COR Development Plan. A component of that overview was to <br />interview area stakeholders and professional consultants contracted by the City related to land <br />use issues. Based on these preliminary discussions with stakeholders and professionals, Staff <br />would like to propose a revised format to the Boards and Commissions survey for ease of read <br />and to ensure the proper questions are being asked in order to obtain meaningful feedback. Please <br />note, that Staff believes that it will take a couple of iterations to drill down into the level of detail <br />originally discussed. Staff recommended approval of the revised survey format for The COR <br />Development Plan. <br />Commission Business <br />Commissioner VanScoy requested further information on how the City planned to fund parking <br />within The COR. <br />Community Development Director Gladhill explained he would add information to the survey <br />regarding PUMA funds. <br />Commissioner Andrusko was pleased the Mississippi River crossing was included in the survey <br />for regional growth. He believed this was an important piece to consider for The COR. <br />Commissioner VanScoy appreciated the document as well along with the broad scopes that were <br />being covered. <br />Commissioner Brauer was impressed by the amount of work that went into the document. He <br />also supported the organization of the survey.
