7.04: Consider Adopting Ordinance #16-04 to Amend City Code Section 2-159 (Duties, <br />Responsibilities, and Objectives) to Incorporate the Principals of the Environmental <br />Policy Board's Statement of Purpose <br />City Planner Anderson reviewed the staff report and recommendation to adopt Ordinance #16-04 <br />as recommended by the Environmental Policy Board (EPB) and Planning Commission. <br />Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Williams, to Adopt an <br />Ordinance Amending Section 2-159 (Duties, Responsibilities and Objectives) of the Ramsey <br />City Code. <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br />Councilmember Shryock aye <br />Councilmember Riley aye <br />Councilmember LeTourneau aye <br />Councilmember Williams aye <br />Councilmember Kuzma aye <br />Councilmember Johns absent <br />Mayor Strommen aye <br />Motion carried. <br />7.05: Introduce Ordinance #16-03 Amending the Wetland Protection Overlay District to <br />Establish Wetland and Storm Water Pond Setbacks and Establish a Minimum Lot <br />Depth for Newly Created Residential Lots (Project No. 16-39) <br />Community Development Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report and recommendation to <br />introduce Ordinance #16-03 establishing a wetland/storm water pond setback of 16.5 feet and <br />establishing a minimum lot depth standard for all newly created residential lots as recommended <br />by the Environmental Policy Board (EPB) and Planning Commission. He noted this is unrelated <br />to the Flood Plain Ordinance, which has been under discussion as well. <br />Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Williams, to introduce an <br />Ordinance Amending Subdivision VI (Wetland Protection Overlay District) and Article III <br />Division 3 (Design Standards and Requires Improvements) of the Ramsey City Code. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Kuzma, Williams, <br />LeTourneau, Riley, and Shryock. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Johns. <br />7.06: Discuss Appointments to Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee <br />Community Development Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report and recommendation to <br />appoint the citizens interested in the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee as listed in the <br />report.
