Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember Shryock, to adopt Resolution <br />#16-05-100 Granting Preliminary Plat Approval for The Station. <br />Further discussion: Mayor Strommen asked for more information on the deferral of the public <br />improvements to ensure that the City would not be on the hook for those costs. WSB Municipal <br />Planner Maass stated that the public improvements include public sidewalks as well as a second <br />lift of 142nd Avenue. City Planner Anderson noted that there were deferred public improvements <br />from the previous phase of the project and believed that there has been a resolution to that matter <br />and the City is not putting itself in a tough position. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Riley, Shryock, Johns, <br />Kuzma, and Williams, Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember LeTourneau. <br />7.04: Consider Adoption of Resolution #16-05-094 Adopting Findings of Fact #0962 <br />Relating to a Request from Bethel Properties LLC for an Amended Conditional Use <br />Permit to Expand Surface Parking Area for Motor Vehicle Sales in the B-2 <br />Highway Business District at the Property Located at 7820 Riverdale Drive NW and <br />Adopt Resolution #16-05-095 Approving the Issuance of an Amended Conditional <br />Use Permit for Same (Project #16-59) <br />City Planner Anderson reviewed the staff report and recommendation of the Planning <br />Commission to approve of an Amended Conditional Use Permit contingent on compliance with <br />the Staff Review Letter dated April 1, 2016 (revised May 13, 2016). He recommended to adopt <br />Resolution #16-05-094 adopting findings of fact #0962 relating to a request from Bethel <br />Properties LLC for an amended Conditional Use Permit to expand surface parking area for motor <br />vehicle sales in the B-2 Highway Business District at the property located at 7820 Riverdale <br />Drive NW and to adopt Resolution #16-05-095 approving the issuance of an Amended <br />Conditional Use Permit for same (Project #16-59). <br />Motion by Councilmember Shryock, seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, to adopt Resolution <br />#16-05-094 Adopting Findings of Fact #0962 Relating to a Request from Bethel Properties, LLC <br />for an Amended Conditional Use Permit to Expand Surface Parking Area for Motor Vehicle <br />Sales in the B-2 Highway Business District at the Property Located at 7820 Riverdale Dr. NW <br />and to adopt Resolution #16-05-095 Approving the Issuance of an Amended Conditional Use <br />Permit for Motor Vehicle Sales in the B-2 Highway Business District and Declaring Terms of <br />Same. <br />Motion carried.
