The cash contribution for Park Dedications was 195 <br />units ~ $2,200 = S429,000. Cred.ting the Developer for the improvements noted above left a <br />balance of $297,500 to be paid at ti~e time the plat was filed. The cash-only trail dedication was <br />195 kT~ $550 -- $107,250. The e;timated cost for construction of the trail in the park was <br />$17,000, leaving a balance of $90,~ 50 due at plat filing. The Rivenwick 3rd Addition, which was <br />on the south, side of Riverdale, r~,quirements included installing a trail on the north side of <br />Riverdale. This trail had not yet been installed. A trail was necessary on the south side of <br />Riverdale Drive b(:cause Riverdale was an MSA street. This trail would not be credit eligible. <br />The Developer might wahl to con ;ider installing the Rivenwick 3rd trail on the south side of <br />Riverdale and the Rivenwick Village i~rail or, the north side of Riverdale. <br /> <br />It was noted th ttt both numbers "19 ~'~ and "195" were used when discussing the number of units <br />in Rivenwick Village. <br /> <br />Civil. Engineer il I~inton stated he bdicved the appropriate number was "192." <br /> <br />Chairperson ,lohns asked if the trail exlcnsion connected to Mississippi West Park. <br /> <br />Principal City [:;ngineer Olson resp~ md¢:d it did. <br /> <br />Civil Engineer I[ l,inton noted the irail on the south side would be adjacent to Mississippi West <br />Park, with another trail providing a walking route to Highway 10 and Town Center. The Ramsey <br />Boulevard com~ection south of High,way 10 -was provided last summer for access to the site. <br /> <br />Civil Engineer II l~inton stated tbs was a PUD and the developer had been asking for many <br />concessions on Ci'i.y Code issues. One: of the things the City could request was continuation of <br />the trail along the north of Riverdat :~ ~o Ram sey. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns asked if it wa~ thcz small stretch north of Highway 10 that was not credit <br />eligible.
