13. That the Applicant is proposing to haul materials with 'belly dump' trucks which range in length from 53 feet to 57 feet and which have hauling capacitie~ o~i 17-18 yards° 14. That at ~he intersection of County Road 83 and Trunk Highway 10, the distance alo~g County Road 83 from the southernmost rail of the Burlington Northern rai3. road to the north edge of the outside westbound traffic lane on Trunk Highway 10 is 71 feet. 15. That the water level o:i Lake itasca is approximately 870 feet. 22, That a southerly borin~ o~ the subject property shows a water level of 867.5 feet and the nort:her[iy boring shows a water level of 870.9 feet. 23° That the Departmen. t of Natural Resources has reviewed the conditional use permil: ~pplication ~nd has found that there appears to be an impermeable layer separati~g ~2he sand aquifers approximately 50-60 feet beneath the ground on. the site and that the proposed lake should have little or ~.~o impact o~ wat~r 7~.evels in Lake Itasca. 24° That the proposed lake wi],l be harmonious with, and in accordance with, the object:ives of the Cindy's Comprehensive Plan in that it will be preserving open space and ~.~ncouraging additional wildlife habitat. 25° That the proposed lake wi].l be consistent with the intended purposes of the Zoning Ordinance in theft it will create additional open space within a planned unit development~ 26~ That a~ e~vironmental ~mpact statement was completed for the l~orthfork P.U.D. including the propo~ed lake in accordance with specifications of the Environme~tal Quality ~.oard. -2 -
