5 Minutes CASE #16: <br /> <br />APPROVE PROJECT COSTS ~ SET DATE FOR ASSESSMENT HEARINGS <br /> FOR IMPROVEMENT P£0JECTS ~86-17, ~86-18, AND ~86-21 <br /> By= Pete Raatikka, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On June 23, 1987, the City Council approved the final payment for Improvement <br />Projects #86-17 and #86-18 (Flintwood Hills Third Addition and Dysprosium <br />Street NW). On June 30, 1987, the City Council approved the payment on Pr, oject <br />#86-21 (153rd Lane NW). ' <br /> <br />Due to Anoka County's new deadline for certifying prepaid special assessments <br />by October 15th of each year, the assessment hearings should be held by <br />September 10, 1987. This will allow residents to prepay the assessments for 30 <br />days without interest as stated in the City's ordinance. <br /> <br />The proposed resolutions for approving the project costs and setting the date <br />for the assessment hearings will be available at the meeting. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />We recommend adoption of the proposed resolutions approving project costs for <br />Projects #86-17, #86-18, and #86-21 and setting the assessment hearings for <br />7:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 1987. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolutions #87- thorugh #87-.. approving project costs for <br />Improvement Projects #86~17, #86-18, and #86-21 and setting the assessment <br />hearings for 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br />X <br /> <br /> <br />
