-2-

ITEM NO. 4 REZONING REQUEST; CASE OF DR. T. W. ANDERSON

The rezoning request for Dr. Anderson is placed on the agenda for dis-
cussion only. The property he is requesting rezoning on is located at
the northwest corner of 167th Avenue N.W. and T.H. #47. The current
zoning is R-1 and he wants it changed to B-1 zoning.

The reason the item is on the agenda for discussion only is that Dr.
Anderson did not get his material in to this office in time to set up
for a public hearing.

ITEM NO. 5 ACCEPTANCE OF STREET; CASE OF MAGNESIUM STREET

This street is located south of Industrial Blvd. and west of the Ramsey
Terrance Plat. The property owners are prepared to dedicate all the
necessary road right-of-ways. However, a variance will be required as
paragraph 170.038c of Zoning Ordinance states that a street with a cul
de sac will not exceed 600 feet.

It should be noted that the bituminous pavement is 24 feet wide. The
owner has indicated he would be willing to bring the streets to a level
of service as would be recommended by the City Engineer.

LGS:sb
