Brushf Wood Waste Reduction While many residents burn wood and brush or stack it, a significant amount of woody material enters the waste stream. As Ramsey becomes more developed this will continue to increase. At the present time, diseased tree material (particularly oaks) is also being inadequately stored and/or unnecessarily burned. At the same time, city parks and trails are being developed which require wood chips for mulching trees or developing pathways. it is proposed, that the City exr~ore and imm!ement, one o= the fo~ow~c options with resoect to a wood chipping unit: purchase of a unit to be used by City personnel.
