Chairperson Nixt asked if the hours suggested were acceptable. <br /> <br />Ms. Pickhardt stated her appointments are strictly by appointment, and the hours listed were <br />arbitrarily set by Staff. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt asked if there was enough off-street parking at the residence. <br /> <br />Ms. Pickhardt indicated they have a three-car garage with an extensive driveway that will fit <br />seven to eleven cars. She stated she usually only has one car there at a time. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt stated there was one letter of complaint, and the issue seems to be with <br />development of the area and increased traffic. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler noted Staff received a number of phone calls on the issue, with none of <br />tile callers opposed. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Jeffrey to close the public hearing at <br />7:38 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Jeffrey, Brauer and Shepherd. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Johnson, Van Scoy and Watson. <br /> <br />Commission Input <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Brauer to recommend that the City <br />Council adopt Findings of Fact favorable to the applicant relating to Sarah Pickhardt's request <br />fora home occupation permit. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Brauer, Jeffi'ey, and Shepherd. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Johnson, Van Scoy and Watson. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Jeffrey to recommend that the City <br />Council approve Sarah Pickhardt's request for a home occupation permit based on the findings of <br />fact. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Brauer, Jeffrey, and Shepherd. <br />Voting No: None.
