Police Chief Katers expressed the sincere gratitude of the support that the department received <br /> following the horrific events in Dallas, Texas. He stated that the kind words and support help the <br /> officers get through their toughest days. He stated that Tuesday, August 2nd is Night to Unite, <br /> noting that the department is booked on party visits for that night. He stated that they are excited <br /> to meet residents of the City. He stated that there are other ways to participate if your party has <br /> not yet been registered. He stated that staff also met with Chuck Delaney today regarding the <br /> Game Fair, noting that it will be the 35h year of the Game Fair which will take place the middle <br /> two weekends of August. <br /> Community Development Director Gladhill advised of a pilot partnership with Youth First that <br /> could help alert the residents of Oak Terrace to the services available to them. He reported that <br /> the EDA Golf Tournament scheduled for Tuesday, August 16tH <br /> 9.
