Con~ider Amendment To Zoning Map Rezoninq Property From R-1R <br /> ~ural R~.~tdential To R1-U Urban Residential: <br /> <br />~ioner Deemer stated that this rezoning is an exercise in futility as <br />the lxoperty is destined for development with sewer and water and will <br />autc~at/cally receive urban designation which allows development at an <br />even greater density than R1-U. <br /> <br />Mr. Schau~burg stated that the current zoning is like a saoke screen; would <br />like it shown in black and white that it can developed with at least one <br />unit/acre and more with sewer and water. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Rowell and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to <br />reccmaend that the City adopt an ordinance rezoning the 13 acre parcel fran <br />the existing R-1R l~sidential to the R1-U Urban Pesidential district. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes'. Chalzman Peterson~ Ccm~ssioners Zimmerman, <br />Shum~ay, LaDue, Howell and Hendriksen. Voting No: Camu~sioner <br /> <br />Consider Amendment To Section 170.06 Of The City Code Amending <br /> The Flood Plain Bounfl~y: <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Howell to <br />recommend that the City adopt an ordinance amending the flood plain <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chaizman Peterson, Commissioners Zimmerman, <br />Deemer, Shu~ay, !~ue, ~endriksen and Howell. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />~_uest For A Conditional Use Permit To Store Vehicles And <br /> Q~erate An Automobile Sales Business In ne RB Rural Business <br /> District At 9457 Bwv. %10 N.W.: Case Of Charles Christian: <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that the City Attorney is currently drafting ordinance <br />wording that will specify blacktop and concrete surfaces of parking and <br />driveway areas; for this conditional use penait, it is reco~ that the <br />Camm~sion require blacktop or concrete. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioher Howell to <br />r~ adoption of the findings of fact, a~m_nck~ as follows, relating to <br />Mr. Charles Christian's request for a conditional use permit: <br /> <br />Item %8 to read as follows: '~hat the forage of vehicles will not be <br />detrimental or mduly dangerous to persons working or residing in the <br />area.
