CASE <br /> <br /> INFORMATION ITEMS <br />Anne L. Norris, Community Develotm~-nt Director <br /> <br />1. On January 27, the City Council authorized advertising for a vacancy on the <br />Plannin~g and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />2. On January 27, the City Council approved Mr. Bauer's request for a <br />metes and bounds subdivision to transfer 50 feet from Lot 6 to Lot 3 in <br />Ford Brook Estates in order to create a building site on Lot 3. <br /> <br />3. On January 27, the City Council approved Mr. and Mrs. Louck's request <br />for a metes and bounds subdivision to split the farmstead from the <br />r~nainder of the property. <br /> <br />4. On January 27, the City Council approved Joel Thomsen's request for a <br />metes and bounds subdivision to split his 16 acre parcel into 3 and 13 acre <br />parcels. <br /> <br />5. On January 27, the City Council approved Mr. Root's conditional use permit <br />for the continued operation of an automobile sales and repair business at 14700 <br />Nowthen Blvd. N.W. and requested that a revised conditional use permit <br />agreement be drafted specifying that the off-street parking area shall be <br />surfaced with traprock. <br /> <br />6. On January 27, the City Council approved the minor subdivision of <br />Meadowbrook as requested by Gary Petrucci. <br /> <br />7. On January 27, the City Council approved the site plan for the commercial <br />development in River's Bend Plaza P.U.D. <br /> <br />8. On January 27, the City Council approved a preliminary plat of Autumn <br />Meadows su~nitted by Ken Johnson. The plat includes four equally sized lots <br />and a cul-de-sac which exceeds the City's specifications. The City Council <br />determined that this was a better plat with respect to future subdivision and <br />future development in that area than the proposed plat with a cul-de-sac <br />meeting the City's requirements. In addition, the City Council specified that <br />no future subdivision of those parcels would be permitted until a second access <br />is provided into the plat. <br /> <br />9. On January 27, the City Council reviewed Jack Barthold's request for a <br />minor subdivision and recommended that the minor subdivision be completed <br />and requested that a road be constructed to serve both parcels. <br /> <br />10. On January 27, the City Council approved a development permit for <br />Plants and Things addressing concerns regarding off-street parking and <br />exterior finish of the accessory structure. <br /> <br />11. On January 27, the City Council set a meeting date for 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, <br />February 10, 1987 to discuss airport zoning and possible construction of a <br />frontage road along the south side of Hwy. #10. The Planning Commission should. <br />plan on attending this meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
