~ AND ZONING ~ION <br /> PUBLIC ~ <br /> CITY OP RAMSEY <br /> <br /> STATE OF MINNESUfA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on <br />Tuesday, January 6, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota regarding Mr. Paul Bertils' request of preliminary plat <br />approval of Now and Then Estates. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Ken Peterson, Chairman <br />Mr. Ben Deemer <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Roy Sh~ay <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />C~mmuni~ Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Members Absent.. Mr. Jim Howell <br /> <br />Cha. innan Peterson called the public hearing to order at 8:03 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Paul Bertils was present. <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Piper was present and stated that he owned the property west of Mr. <br />Bertils'. Mr. Piper asked if there were ~going to be minimum home values or <br />restrictions on the types of h~es permitted in the proposed plat. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson stated that the City Code and State Building Code give <br />minimum building sizes and structural specifications that are required for all <br />h~es. Any requirements in excess of these may be done with restrictive <br />covenants. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chain~an Peterson, Commissioners Deemer, LaDue, <br />~endriksen, Zi~me~ and Sh~way. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner <br />Howell. <br /> <br />The public hearing adjourned at 8:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Be~, ully submitted, <br /> <br />C~unity Development Director <br /> <br /> <br />
