C.o'mmissioner Johnson stated he thinks he can sense how this is going. He indicated they are <br />talking about a permitted use, and while they can put conditions on it, they cannot arbitrarily <br />deny the request. He stated Mr. Lyrmes'expressed concerns because he developed his proPerty <br />and senses a deterioration of this and other properties. He is wondering if .there are any <br />reasonable conditions Mr. Lynnes would recommend that would help alle, ziate, his' :cOncerns, and <br />also asked what concerns Mr. Lvnnes has concernin,o the other properties around him. <br /> <br />He stated for conditions, he would want them to have to put asphalt and curb:and trees. <br /> <br />Jennifer Lynnes, 9550 156'h Avenue indicated when they.:~'~ai:e talI~iag about junk, she has <br />example. He stated if they do not want to :comply with the conditional use permit requirements <br />he would ~ant a short-term interim use permit to g-ire them time to find somewhere else to <br />move, but fbur years is too long. '" <br /> <br />Corm-nissioner Johnson stated the neighbors have expectations of neatness~ He indicated if the <br />containers are nice and the Class 5 is maintained it would be better than some of the other <br />properties, or this property :left undeveloped. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald noted there are only six containers on a large parcel, however, they <br />should be kept in an orderly manner. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt stated an interim use pen:nit is 'for permitting a use for a temporary per/od of <br />time whe~:e that use is not normally allowed. He indicated it is being used here to dodge <br />requirements, and four years is too long.
