Rsqu_ est For Sketch Plan P~view: Case Of Mr. Jake Barthold: <br /> <br />Mr. Rartley stated that Mr. Barthold has revised his subdivision <br />configuration previously reviewed by Council. Staff is recommending that <br />normal procedure be followed and that Mr. Barthold proceed with a minor <br />subdivision process with Planning and Zoning reviewing and providing a <br />recc~mmndation regarding the revised subdivision configuration and City <br />Council conducting the final review of the subdivision. <br /> <br />Councilm~mber DeLuca recalled Planning and Zoning's concerns expressed at <br />the last joint meeting regarding City Council circumventing standard <br />operating procedures. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cox, for <br />further discussion, to refer Mr. Barthold's revised subdivision request to <br />Planning and Zoning for their review and rec(mm~ndations. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Barthold stated that he has been working on this <br />subdivision for 2-3 months and was informed by City Staff that it was not <br />necessary to submit the revised sketch plan to Planning and Zoning. <br />Councilm~ber Cox stated that the City is recommending minor platting in <br />order to avoid cumbersome legal descriptions associated with metes and <br />hounds subdivisions.
