Mayor Peimann noted that Ms. Bye went through a performance evaluation at <br />the end of her probationary period and inquired if a record of that <br />evaluation will be Blaoed in her personnel file. <br /> <br />Mr. ~artley replied that performance evaluations will be filed in the <br />personnel files. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann requested that Mr. ~artley have job descriptions c~mpleted by <br />the next regular Council meeting; want employee performance evaluations <br />performed early this year and again at the end of the year. <br /> <br />QONSENT ~A <br /> <br />3) Approve lioense applications - <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann noted that license applications fr~m Ward's Service Company <br />and Dave Perkin's Contracting have Ramsey addresses that are in residential <br />areas and inquired if these businesses are operating fr~m those residential <br />addresses. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris replied that she has checked these two applications and they are <br />using their hc~e addresses as a mailing address only for their businesses. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox noted that there is an application from Northern Par <br />Develou~ent Company; an employee of the City of Ramsey is an officer with <br />that company; two years ago Council was told there would not be a conflict <br />of interest as the company would not being doing business in Ramsey; think <br />that n~ there would be a potential for a confliCt. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that given Ms. Beyer's employment position <br />with Ramsey (not functioning with licensing or building inspections), he <br />cannot see a conflict of interest in relationship to her employment with <br />P msey. <br /> <br />Councilm~ber Cox stated that people should be aware that Council knows <br />there is a potential for a conflict. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox noted that the new AMC dealer on Hwy. #10, Barnett's, is <br />using Anoka rather than Ramsey in their advertising. <br /> <br />Councilm~ber DeLuca stated that the cwner told him that he is restricted <br />by the franchise that was originally obtained naming Anoka as the location. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann requested that staff forward a letter to Barnett's <br />encouraging them to name Bam.~ey as their location. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to approve all <br />license applications ~ontained in the consent agenda of January 27, 1987. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilms~bers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: Nne. <br /> <br />c) Deficiencies in agenda - <br /> <br />Page 25 of 26 <br /> <br /> <br />
