Mr. Delaney replied that he has a $1,000,000 policy that should <br />cover parking accidents because of the Game Fair. Mayor Gamec <br />stated that RYAA, one of the organizations handling parking, <br />checked Mr. Delaney's insurance and it covers anything related <br />to the Game Fair. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, <br />Sorteberg, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Council consensus was to waive the reading of the proposed <br />resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember <br />Schlueter to adopt Resolution #84-133 approving the granting of a <br />temporary conditional use permit to Mr. Charles Delaney to hold <br />Game Fair 1984 based on the findings of fact, contingent upon <br />Mr. Delaney entering into an agreement with the City of Ramsey <br />and to authorize the Mayor and the City Administrator to sign <br />said agreement. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution <br />#84-133). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, <br />Sorteberg, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None'. <br /> <br />Council recessed at 9:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the Council meeting back to order at 10:00 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #2: Establishing License' Fee For Septi'c Tank' pumpers: <br /> <br />Council consensus was to waive the reading of the proposed <br />resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember <br />Sorteberg to adopt Resolution #84~134 establishing a $5.00 <br />license fee for septic tank pumpers. (Please refer to resolution <br />file for Resolution #84-134). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Reimann stated that the license <br />fee should be waived if the pumpers comply with the City's <br />requirement of a monthly report being submitted to the City <br />regarding pumpings in the City. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner withdraws her motion, <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg withdraws his second to the motion. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember <br />Reimann to adopt Resolution #84-134 establishing that the license <br />fee for septic tank pumpers will be waived in lieu of the pumper <br />completing and returning to the City monthly reports. (Please <br />refer to resolution file for Resolution #84-134). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, <br />Schlueter, Sorteberg and Van Wagner.
