KATHLEEN JOHNSON: <br /> <br />Mrs. Kathleen Johnson completed her six month probationary period on <br />December 27, 1983 as an Accounting/Data Processing Clerk I. Accordingly, <br />Council has to either approve of her successfully completing her probationary <br />period and appoint her to permanent status, continue her probationary period <br />or terminate her employment. <br /> <br />Enclosure (DZ--c) contains a memo dated November 18, 1983 from Kathleen's <br />immediate supervisor. Further, Council will receive a report at the meeting <br />from the Council Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />City Administrator's Comments: I recommend that Council approve of Mrs. <br />Kathleen Johnson's successfully completing her probationary period. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to either approve of her successfully <br />completing her probationar~ period and promoting her to permanent status, <br />extend probationary period or terminate employment, The following proposed <br />motion is hereby submitted for your consideration: <br /> <br />Motion by and seconded by to approve of <br />Mrs. Kathleen Johnson's successfully completing her probationary <br />period as an Accounting/Data Processing Clerk I effective on December <br />ZT, 1983. It is further directed that the City Accounting <br />Department be furnished a copy of this Council action and that a <br />copy of the motion be placea in Mm. Voting yes <br /> <br />· Voting no <br /> <br />CASE ~5: IRRIGATIO, N SYSTEM AND WELL FOR CENTRAL PARK: <br /> <br />Bids for this park improvement were received in mid-1983 and subsequently <br />rejected because the available funding was not adequate to finance the project. <br />Council, at the time of rejection, did, however, indicate that they would <br />like to further discuss this issue and consider rebidding the project in 1984. <br />Accordingly, this is back on your ~genda for discussion and further direction <br />as to how you wish tc proceed w~th this matter considering :.he possibility <br />of additional funding or scaling back ' he project if possible. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will b:; to direct Staff as to how you would like <br />them to proceed with this matter, if your action is to rebid the project, then <br />setting a bid opening date and time ~' )uld be appropriate. <br /> <br /> <br />
