Associate Planner Wald indicated the two newly created lots exceed the one -acre minimum lot <br />size and 200-foot lot width requirements, and Staff recommends sketch plan approval. <br />Commission Input <br />Chairperson Nixt asked if there was a reason for not separating the lot that the two warehouses <br />will be located on so they can have more impervious surface. <br />Associate Planner Wald replied that is not the case. <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Chairperson Nixt to approve the sketch plan for <br />Basalt Office 2" `� Addition, subject to conditions in the City Staff Review Letter. <br />Commissioner Van Scoy asked if the same company was going to develop both lots. <br />Associate Planner Wald indicated they are, in partnership with the City. <br />Commissioner Van Scoy asked if there was a reason they were not approving a PUD for both <br />lots. <br />Associate Planner Wald stated there is no reason to have a PUD on the second lot, because there <br />is only one building proposed. <br />Case #4 Request to Rezone Property from E-2 Employment District to Planned Unit <br />Development; Case of City of Ramsey and Basalt Properties, LLP <br />Presentation <br />Associate Planner Wald advised this goes along with the previous case, and allows a PUD so two <br />buildings can be developed on one lot. <br />Citizen Input <br />Chairperson Nixt asked if Basalt Properties received the City Staff Review Letter and if there are <br />any questions. <br />Tom Sauder stated he did receive the letter and has no questions. <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Jeffrey to close the public <br />hearing at 8:17 p.m. <br />Motion carried.
