As ~ <br />addition to the preceding provision, any changes to Article X, pertaining to <br />firefighters relief and pension funds, must also be approved by a majority of the actiwe <br />ftrefighter members of the Fire Department Relief Association. <br /> <br />BY-LA;~J TO ~ JOINT PO~EItS AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> In addition to the several articles of this joint powers agreement, the Joint Fire <br />Board will also be governed by the provisions of the By-Laws to this agreement. <br />Additions, deletions, and/or amendments to the by-laws may be accomplished by a <br />majority vote of the total membership of the joint fire board providing however, that <br />the majority vote must include one affirmative vote from each of the member cities. <br />Each member city council and the Anoka-Champlin-Ramsey fire department must be notified, <br />in writing, of pending changes no less then 10 days prior to the date of the meeting iz <br />which the changes will be considered. <br /> <br />LIFE OF THIS CONTRACT <br /> <br /> This contract will become effective on the first day of January, 1985 and will <br />remain in effect until dissolved by the City of Anoka, the City of Champlin or the City <br />of Ramsey from the date of this contract until any of the member cities notifies the <br />other member cities in writing of such a request no less than five (5) years in advance <br />of the desired expiration date. <br /> <br />(SIGNATURE SECTION) <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br /> <br />
