BLN~L~IT5: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D2-j) contains the following documents for ODuncil action: <br /> <br />a) 1985 proposed salary ranges with a 5% cost of living built <br />into it (page 1 of 8). <br />b) Comparison of wages 1984 - informational (page 2 of 8). <br />c) Salary recon~neDdations for 1985 which gives the non-union <br />e~ployees' Iequest, the City Administrator's recommendation <br />and the Council Personnel C~x~mittee's recommendation (page 3 <br />of 8). It should also be noted that the Council Personnel <br />(bmmittee ha~ met with each employee and reviewed his/bet <br />salary request and the individual job description. <br />d) Proposed 1985 increments for certain employees which contains <br /> the non-union employees' request, the City Administrator'S <br /> reoommendation and the Council Personnel Committee's proposal <br /> (pages 4a and 4b of 8). <br /> e) Comparison to Metro Mean which shows bow each proposal com- <br /> pares to the Metro Mean - informational (page 5 of 8). <br /> f) Step program, for employees in training progr~r,- information- <br /> al (page 6 of $). <br /> g) Step program for employees from 1984 to 1985 (page 7 of 8). <br /> h) 1985 part-time employees wages which oontains r~ndations <br /> for this group (page 8 of 8). <br /> <br />Promotions - ~e City Ad~inistrator has reocmmended for the following <br />position changes in City personnel: <br /> <br />Penny Curtis <br />Clayton Berg <br /> <br />Clerical II <br />Building Official <br /> <br /> Clerical III <br />Director of Tech. Serv. <br /> <br /> a) Peru"~y Curtis - Enclosure (D2-k) contains said job description <br />for your review. P~nny is very qualified and is doing the work con- <br />tained in the above enclosure. <br /> <br /> b) Clayton Berg - Enclosure (D2-1) contains said job description <br />for your review. Clayton has performed the duties stated in this job <br />description for the past several years but has not been paid for these <br />increased duties. The position still allows Clayton to cover the <br />building department. <br /> <br />It should be noted that the Council Personnel Committee has reviewed <br />and discussed the above position changes. <br /> <br />Further, other recommendations were su~,itted to the Personnel Commi- <br />tee as follows: <br /> <br /> a) Bealth insurance - It was requested that the City increase <br />the City's share of health insurance from $140.00 per month to $150.00 <br />per month. ~he Council Personnel (k~ttee did not offer any objec- <br />tion here. <br /> <br /> <br />
