I I b) Sick leave - It wa~ recommended that Council consider changing the o~d]nance pertaining to sick leave which now states t3~at a City employee-would receive one-third (1/3) of his/bet unused sick leave upon ter~,in~tion of employment. It has been requested that this ordinance be d, anged and that such payment upon termination would be made based on the nu~be~ of years of service as follows: 5 years - 40% l0 years - 45% 15 years - 50% ~his has also been discussed with th~ Personnel (k~mittee. (D2-m) contains the proposed ordinance change. Enclosure Qouncil Action: Your action will be required on personnel salaries and fringe benefits as follows: a) 1985 proposed salary ranges for City positions - Every year the City establishes the salary ranges for all of its positions which oonstitutes an adjusbnent plus a cost of living factor. Enclosure (D2-n) contains the proposed resolution which you will have to approve or disapprove.
