I <br />I <br /> <br />CASE #Z: <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION APPROVING OF LOTS 13 AND 14, BOWER'S <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />CASE ~3: <br /> <br />CASE ~4: <br /> <br />MISSISSIPPI ACRES AS BUILDABLE LOTS: <br /> <br />According to the letter of understanding dated September 3, 1982 for Lots 13 and <br />14 of Bower's Mississippi Acres, the City Council will adopt a resolution stating <br />that these are buildable lots. <br /> <br />Enclosure (DZ-b) contains the following documents: <br /> <br />a) Letter of understanding for drainage easements on Lots 13 and 14, Bower's <br /> Mississippi Acres dated September 3, 1984. <br /> <br />b) Proposed resolution stating that Lots 13 and 14 of Bower's Mississippi Acres <br /> are buildable lots. <br /> <br />c) City Engineer's letter dated June 7, 1984 stating that all work has been <br /> completed as stated in the above letter of understanding. <br /> <br />Coundl Action: Your action <br />in the above enclosure. The <br />your consideration: <br /> <br />will be to adopt the proposed resolution contained <br />following proposed motion is hereby submitted for <br /> <br />Motion by and seconded by to adopt Resolution 4P84- <br />declaring Lots 13 and 14 of Bower's Mississippi Acres as buildable lots. Please <br />refer to resolution file for Resolution ~84- . <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes <br /> <br />· Voting no <br /> <br />ON-SITE SEPTIC SYSTEM ORDINANCE INSPECTIONS: <br /> <br />As per Council action of May 8, 1984 and as per the Council Personnel Committee, <br />the City will be sending out letters to the citizens within the next 30 days. <br /> <br />Council Action: No action is required unless you so dictate, <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO SUBDIVIDE BY METES AND BOUNDS; CASE <br /> <br />OF MR. DONALD HUFF: <br /> <br />Mr. Donald Huff of 0811 - 154th Lane NW is requesting authorization to subdivide <br />by metes and bounds his lot which is approximately five acres in size with 395 feet <br />of frontage. At the time the streets were constructed, Mr. Huff was assessed for <br />two units because he had sufficient property to create two buildable lots. Therefore, <br />the question is not whether or not Mr. Huff can subdivide, but rather the manner <br />in which the subdivision must be done. <br /> <br />Mr. Huff submitted his request to the Planning and Zoning Commission at their <br />regular meeting of June 6, 1984 and they have recommended approval contingent <br />upon the following: <br /> <br /> 1) That the minimum frontage on either parcel must be 160 feet and that the <br />minimum lot size on either parcel be one acre. <br /> <br />We concur with the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation. However, <br />we feel that a certificate of survey should be provided for both parcels. <br /> <br /> <br />
