I i I I I I i I I I I I I I I I I I CASE {5: REPLACEMENT OF CHAIN SAWS AND WEED TRIMMER: Council authorization is needed to purchase the following pieces of equipment which were stolen from the City's public works building in June of 1984: Homelite Chain Saw Super XL Automatic 10"- Serial #40250918 Echo Chain Saw CS-315 14"- Serial ~0059925 Echo Weed and Grass Trimmer GT-160A - Serial ~00054282 Safety gas can We will be reimbursed by our insurance company at the current purchase price of each item, less depreciation. Enclosure (D2-d) contains the proposed resolution adopting the requested budget amendment and the proposed resolution accepting price quotes. Council Action: Your action will be as follows: a) A budget amendment will be required even though these items were stolen. We will need to amend the budget to purchase them in accordance with Section 7.08 of the Charter. Council will have to adopt a resolution approving/disapproving budget amendment ~Z to the 1984 City budget.
