I <br />,I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />CASE ,7: <br /> <br />DRAINAGE PROBLEM AT 156TH LANE NW AND NUTRIA STREET NW~ CASE <br /> <br />OF MR./JIM ARMSTRONG: <br /> <br />Council requested that City Engineer Raatikka and Councilman Sorteberg <br />investigate the drainage problem at lS0th Lane NW and Nutria .Street NW <br />and report back to the Council for the July 10, 1984 meeting. <br /> <br />Accordingly, enclosure (DZ-e) contains a memo on their investigation of the <br />drainage problem in the above stated area. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be as you deem necessary. <br /> <br />REOUEST TO REZONE III-TEN SPORTS PROPERTY FROM R-l, RESIDENTIAL, <br /> <br />TO B-l, BUSINESS; CASE OF MR. DICK HAGEN: <br /> <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />This case was tabled at the June Z6th meeting because of the failure to have <br />an ordinance prepared for reading and three days prior posting of it as required <br />by City Charter. Please refer to enclosure (DZ-f) for said ordinance. The <br />ordinance has been posted the required amount of time. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of the above enclosed <br />ordinance. The following proposed motion is hereby submitted for your <br />consideration: <br /> <br /> Motion by and seconded by ~ ' to adopt Ordinance <br /> ~84-5 an Ordinance Amending Chapter 170.012. entitled "Zoning". <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes <br /> <br />· Voting no <br /> <br />CASE ,8: WIDENING OF CERTAIN MSA STREETS (VARIOLITE STREET NW FROM <br /> <br />161ST AVENUE NW TO 173RD AVENUE NW AND I$3RD AVENUE NW FROM <br />NOWTHEN BLVD. NW TO ST. FRANCIS BLVD. NW) TO PROVIDE FOR <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />BICYCLING LANES: <br /> <br />The following MSA streets should be widened to provide for bicycling lanes: <br /> <br /> a) Variolite Street NW from 161st Avenue NW to 173rd Avenue NW - It <br />should be noted that the lower portion of Variolite Street NW does provide <br />a bicycling lane. <br /> <br />b) 153rd Avenue NW from Nowthen Blvd. NW to St. Francis Blvd. NW. <br /> <br />The funding to provide for the construction of bicycling lands on the above <br />named streets would be derived from MSA funds. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of the above request. <br />If you desire to proceed with the above improvement, you will have to direct <br />the City Engineer to prepare a feasibility report for the widening of the above <br />streets to provide for bicycling lanes which will be accomplished by Council <br />resolution which is contained in enclosure (DZ-g).
