The Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park has been included in the inventory even though it is not located within any o£ the CAR communities. Because of Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park's proximity to the 3 CAR communities, and because it meets some of the recreational needs of these communities, it has been included in this inventory. Another feature which has been in- cluded in the inventory is existing public rights-of-way which dead end into the river. These rights-of-way can function as mini parks, providing access to the river. The information obtained from the Park and Open Space Inventory is summarized in Table 6. Table 6 lists the Public Agencies responsible for maintaining the park, the location of each park, the size, and the type of activities occurring at each of the parks.
