! I I I I I I I I I I I I I ]n the event of adverse weather conditions and upon approval of the Department, the sixty (60) day requirements for completion of turf establishment may be extended. In general, fibrous, shallow, laterally growning roots should characterize the vegetation types that will comprise the final turf material. The Minnesota Department of Transportation's seed mixture No. 5 ,~is tl~ probable mix to l~e used in the turf establishment. The seed mix contains: Vegetation Type Percent by weight Park Kentucky Bluegrass Smooth Bromegrass Red Top Timothy Perennial Ryegrass White Clover Empire Birdsfoot Trefoil 40 14 6 8 20 6 6 ~he turf cover will be inspected by the Department one year after :the above seeding, mulching and/or fertilizing for adequacy. 6. Certification Upon completion of the activities listed in items 1 through 5 above, the Department will be provided with a certification by a qualified registered professional engineer that the landfill has been closed in accordance with the approved plans, ordinances, and license conditions. The certification shall be submitted no later than sixty (60) days following completion of said landfill closure activities. The landfill owner and operator will submit a detailed description of the landfill site ~o the Department and t6 {he-"~'~tY-'i-e'gistrar of deeds. This description shall include the general type, quantity and location of deposited solid waste, the depth of waste fill, original and final terrain d~scriptions, and other pertinent characteristics of the completed sanitary landfill site.~.~' ~2proval of the landfill closure by the County shall be based/~ ~,the prof. ess_ional~, engineer's certification. , 4
