Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 Re: Responses to EAW for Flintwood Hills Second Addition Dear Council Members: In accordance with the EAW review process, we have received ten letters commenting on the above referenced project. Following is a list of the letters and a brief summary of their comments and what action will be taken to address the comments: 1. Letter dated March 6, 1984, from t____~he Corps of Enginee[~: This letter stated that work proposed on the project would be authorized by an existing nationwide Department of Army permit, which expires on July 22, 1987. All conditions stated in that permit will be adhered to during construction. 2. Letter dated March 8, 1984 form the Minnesota Historical Review of the project did not reveal the location of any known sites of historic, architectural, cultural, archaeological, or engineering significance. 3. Letter dated March 27, 1984 from the Anoka County Soil and Water Conservation District: The Anoka County Soil and Water Conservation District was concerned with soil limitations and flooding and recommended that marsh areas not be constructed on. We are currently working on a grading plan which will require removal of unsuitable soils in the construction areas.
