I I I i I I I I I I I I I I I I RESOLUTION #84- WHEREAS, the City of Anoka has requested that the Cities of Ramsey, Anoka, Champlin and Dayton form a Joint Highway Task Force for the purpose of studying the long-range transportation needs of the below listed routes: a) T. H. 1/)9 (between Mississippi River and T.H. 10 bypass in Anoka) b) T. H. 47 (a rerouting by DoT of T.H. 47 from its present fairground location to a new route) c) A Hennepin County and Anoka County joiniventure on a new upstream bridge crossing on the Mississippi River ; and WHEREAS, the City of Anoka has requested that each City appoint an official to the above named task force. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C1TY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves of the creating of a Joint Highway Task Force for the above stated purposes. Z) The Ramsey City Council hereby appoints the following elected officials to the above named task force. 3) It is further requested that the following administrative requirements be required at Task Force meetings: a) That the Task Force elect a chairman who would be responsible for setting up meeting dates, etc. b) That the Task Force retain a secretary to take minutes of all meetings and that each City Council be furnished with a copy of the minutes of each meeting. The cost of the secretary would be borne by the four communities. c) That a time frame be established by the Task Force as to the length of time they would need to complete the study and submit findings to respective City Councils.
