These sectic~s
are equivalent ~o a 5-tc~ d~si~n in accondance with the F~esota Department of
T~ansportation specificattc~s. This street sectic~ has been used successfully
in other areas of the City. It is estimated that this street section has a
life ex~ of 15 years with minimal maintenanoe.

The proposed construction ~e~erally would not include any driveway o0ns~ic~
with the exception of a one foot (1') aprc~ ~hich would be provided to protect
the ec~e of the pavement c~ the rural cross-section street. It would be the
homeowner's responsibility to extend existir~ bitumtinous or ccr~rete driveways
to match ~he street. In special cases, if the street ~rades are ~=vised to
requi~e driwt~ay adjustments, those adjustments ~ould be made as part of the
project.

STORM DRAINAGE I~4~~

The present storm d~ainage system appea~ to be ft~qctic~al with the exoeptic~
of culvert clean~ a~d minor ditch clean~. To control the rtz~Dff at~
~65th Lane, the City street d~t is planning to sod the ditch bottom as
part of their street mainte~k3mce program.

It is not, at this time, proposed to oo~st~ a charnel to County Ditch No.

66 and No. 5 which would provide a positive outlet for tbs area drain~ south.
