The
selection committee will consist of Chairmans of Planning and
Zoning, Park Board, Economic Development Commission and Council
Personnel Committee and City Administrator. Hopefully, we will
have a Planner on board in July, 1984.

Mr. Schnelle stated that with regards to Ramsey's local government
aids, Ramsey has not been receiving it's fair share due to outdated
population figures. Those figures have been adjusted and this
will entitle Ramsey to more local government aid. Mr. Schnelle
also noted that the grandfather act has been removed from local
aid itself; this act encouraged rapid spending.

Commissioner Deemer referred to the signalization at County Rd.
#56 and stated that the bids were let and it is a real bargain;
that area will be a permanent 'T' intersection.

Commissioner Deemer noted that Council turned down Ms. Dickman's
request for a conditional use permit for a counseling service
at her residence.

I
I

COMMISSION BUSINESS

Case #1: Request To Rezone Hi-Ten Sports Property From R-I,
Residential, To B-i, Business~ Case Of Mr. Dick Hagen:

Mr. Hagen was present.

I
I
I
I
I
I

Discussion ensued regarding future easement to the rear 80' of
Mr. Hagen's property for extension of a service road from Alpaca
Estates.

Mr. Hagen stated that he had no plans to build on that rear 80'

Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner
Zimmerman to recommend adopting the proposed findings of fact
for Mr. Dick Hagen's request to rezone his property at 8110
West Highway #10, Hi-Ten Sports, from R-l, Residential to B-l,
Business.

Motion carried.
