This was
done so that a comparison could be made with past data to determine if
the removal of the well wizards caused any cross contamination in the
well. It is expected that this data will be available around November
9th and that a decision to proceed with the VOC and table two
constituents monitoring can then proceed.

While the above unfortunate incident has resulted in a delay, we
believe the actions taken will insure that no extraneous contamination
will impact the future monitoring to be done. In addition, this does
provide you with the opportunity to prepare the revised table two list
according to our suggestions and comments so that adequate time will be
available to prepare proper shuttles for this monitoring.

If you have any questions regarding these activities, please do not
hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

Henry }Al l~ch, P.E.
District Engineer
Environmental Management

HAK/klr
cc: Terry Miller, Site Manager
Oa~es Kolar, City of Ramsey
George Boyer, ~ickok & Assoc.
Gerald Sevick, Foth & Van Dyke
Bruce Nelson, MPCA
Jim O'Connor,.District Manager
Ral Cahill, Regional Engineering Manager
