CASE #9: <br /> <br />[~,~ ;cs., re (D2-i) ~or,tal[,s th[ fc,]lowl~,g ite~,~ for your Inforl[,atior,: <br /> <br />a) Ms. Mar~ar, Malor, ey's letter dated February 7, 1986 <br />b) Site ]ocatior, map <br /> <br />Council Act ion: <br /> <br />Your action may be to refer this matter to the Park and Recreation <br />Commission for their review and comment. <br /> <br />ENGINEERING: <br /> <br />Item A: Churchill Estates Bids~ <br /> <br />Or, February 4, 1986, nine bids were received on Churchill Estates <br />Site Improvements (l~provement Project #86-2). <br /> <br />Enclosure (D2-$) contains the City Engineer's letter recommending <br />award of the project to the low bidde~, Matt Bullock Contracting Co., <br />InC. <br /> <br />This project is a tax increment project with a maximum of $80,000 <br />allocated for construction. The City Engineer is recommending the <br />reduction of part of the landscaping items to bring the project cost <br />down to the budget amount. This will require approval of Change Order <br />No. 1 which is also contained in enclosure (D2-$). <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Your action will be to accept/reject the bids. The following proposed <br />~,:,tions are hereby subn~itted for your consideration: <br /> <br />Motior~ by and seconded by to accept the <br />bid of Matt Bullock Contracting Co., Inc. for a total cost not to <br />exceed $88,680.00. In addition, the contractor shall be required <br />to meet all contractual obligations of the City as laid out in <br />the specifications, including performance bond. <br /> <br />Council discussion: <br /> <br />Motior~ carried/failed.
