Econ Marketing is now nego- <br />tiatir~g title to its property and it appears that the City's street <br />should be surveyed sc, as to provide a proper legal description to <br />establish its location and i~ order to obtain deed to this street. <br />There is some confusior, regarding the street location in relation to <br />Econ Marketing's property, Welsh's property and the private easement <br />ir, this area. The cost of the survey is anticipated to be $500. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Your action will be to approve/disapprove the expenditure of up to <br />$500 for the surveying of this street and to authorize the City's <br />er~gineering firm to undertake this project. Voting yes: <br />Abst a i n ing: Absent: <br /> <br />Voting no: <br /> <br />Item G: Uncompleted 1985 Sealcoatinq Pro,lects: <br /> <br />As you may recall, last year two of the proposed sealcoating projects <br />(#85-6 and #85-12) were petitioned agair~st by the residents and had to <br />be dropped ir, accordance with the City Charter. <br /> <br />City Staff is concerned that continued neglect of the maintenance of <br />the streets may cause non-repairable deterioration. Therefore, the <br />City Council may wish to reconsider these projects and conduct new <br />poblic hearings on them. <br /> <br />Enclosure (D2-n) contains the City Engineer's letter updatiog the <br />costs for these two projects. Proposed resolutions for the two <br />projects will be available at the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
