Item F: Organizational Chart: Following a review of the need for organization within the City of Ramsey, the City Administrator has prepared an organizational chart found in enclosure (DS-s) denoting the preferred lines of authority. It appears that the absence of clear lines of authority have resulted in so;~e communication and management problems in the past. This proposed organizational chart was reviewed by the Personnel Committee and recommended for approval at their ~eeting on February 21, 1986, the ~inutes for which can also be found in the above enclosure. Item G: Building Inspector Vacancy: City Plant,er Arme Norris and City Administrator Dave Hartley have reviewed the applications for Building Inspector and plan to proceed with interviews with the Personnel Committee and the applicants in the im~,~ediate future. Due to the immediate need for a Building Inspector, Staff requests that authorization be extended to the Personnel Commit- tee to select a~d hire an individual to fill this vacancy. You should also determine if you want to advertise strictly for ~abies shots or if you desire to provide other shots which may include distemper-hepatitis and parvo virus.
