This extension is also shown
on the thoroughfare plan in the City's Comprehensive Plan.

This feasibility report was prepared at the request of the Ramsey
City Cou~'cil at their February 25, 1986, in response to a letter
from the developers of the Northfork P.U.D. to construct this
street. This study limited to extending 153rd Avenue from Puma
to Andrie Street, since the connection point on U.S. Highway 10 &
169 has not been determined.

PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT

It is proposed to construct 153rd Avenue N.W. from Puma Street to
Andrie Street in accordance with the standard for municipal state
aid streets (MSAS). However, due
to the high cost of removing the trees and relocating the power
poles, 153rd Ave. N.W., lying east of Puma Street was constructed
32 feet wide with restricted parking on both sides.

On the west side of Puma Street, the United Power Association's
power poles are located within 25 feet of the quarter section
line. Therefore, it is proposed to locate the street centerline
approximately five feet south of quarter section line for the
