In addition thereto, the I~;mm~.)' slmlJ pay to the CITY, monthly, during the term of this agreement, for all fire calls in the Township answered by the CITY Fire Depart- meat, on time invoices certified b~f the Chief or his Deputy, a sum equivalent to $ per run for the first half hour of each call and $ 75.00 for each subsequent half hour or fraction thereof of each call. 3. The payment specified in paragraph 2, ahove, shall be made by R,\~'!';: for any fire call in the RAM.qI.;Y answered by the CITY Fire Department regardless of how the call is received or by winos it is made, no payments shall be due for false alarms unless the call is made by a resident of the RAblSEY . 4. The parties acknowledge the fact that the CITY is under a similar type contract with other municipalities and that a fire call under any such contract pre- ceding a call in RAMSEY could be a valid and reasonable basis for the decision of the Fire Chief or his Deputy in refusing to answer a fire call in RAMSEY . 5. Because the CITY has heretofore entered into nutual assistance fire fighting agreements with other municipalities, posessing fire fighting equipment and firemen, which equipment and firemen could be called by the Chief or his Deputy to a fire in RAMSEY , RAMSEY , agrees to pay such additional cost as may be incurred therby if in the sole Judgment of the Chief or his Deputy such additional fire fighting equipment and firemen are needed to fight a fire in RAblSEY and are in fact called to such fire by the Chief or his Deputy. 6. ~e duration of the contract shall be a period of one (1) year subject to annual review from and after the date of its execution by the CITY, subject to cancellation by either party upon thirty (30) days notice in writing to the other party. this IN WITNESS WHEREOF, ~he parties have hereunto set their hands and seals 1st day of January. , 1986 .
