Counc] ]memb er <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the fo]lowing resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION $86- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AUI~tORIZE THE MAYOR ~ CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A JOINT <br />POWERS AGREEMENT WITB TRE COUNTY OF ANOKA TO IMPLEI~E~T LANDFILL ABATEMENT <br />PROGRAMS IN TI~E CITY OF RAMSE'Y <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey wishes to participate in the landfill <br />abatement programs promoted by the State of Minnesota, Metropolitan Council and <br />County of Anoka. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has submitted to the County of Anoka <br />its landfill abatement plan. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF TME CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to <br />enter into a joint powers agreement with the County of Anoka for the purpose of <br />providing for cooperation between the County of Anoka and the City of Ramsey to <br />implement landfill abatement programs in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 27th day of May, 1986. <br /> <br /> <br />
