Minutes CASK 923: <br /> <br /> I~OPOSED ACTION PLANS <br />By: Dave Rartley, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />In March of this year, the City Council participated with several members of <br />the City's Boards and Commissions to identify several goals which the group <br />felt to be critical for the City of Ramsey. The City Staff has been working on <br />the development of action plans for each one of these goals and would like to <br />review three of those action plans with the City Councll at this time. <br /> <br />The three action plans are included iu the reference material and address the <br />drainage outlets into the Mississippi River; more vigorous enforcement of laws <br />and regulations, and the need for understandable laws and regulations that <br />york; and improvement of the appearance of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />If the City Council approves of this approach to reviewing each of these needs, <br />then we request that a Couucilmember be assigned to each of the three task <br />forced · <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Appoint to an action team to review the need for more <br />vigorous enforcement of laws and regulations, and the need for understanda- <br />ble laws and re§ulatious that work. <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Appoint to an action team to review the need for <br />drainage outlets into the Mississippi River. <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Appoint <br />the appearance of Ramsey. <br /> <br />to an action team to review the need to improve <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Bit. <br /> <br />X <br />X <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
