The 12 inch sub-trunk has design capacity to serve the area
north of Industry Avenue within Sewer Distict i of the
Comprehensive Plan.

Public Water Facilities

As previously mentioned, the City of Ramsey has a municipal
water system located in the southeast area of the City. This
system is a hydropneumatic system which consists of one 500
gallons per minute well and a pressure tank. The City recently
awarded a contract to install a second 500 GPM well south of the
existing pumphouse to provide additional capacity to the system.

It is proposed to connect the Industrial Area to the existing
water system and therefore, delay the construction of source and
storage. This would require the extension of a twelve (12) inch
trunk watermain from Dysprosium Street and Industry Avenue to
the intersection of Sunfish Lake Boulevard and Industry Avenue.
The location of the proposed watermain is shown on Exhibit C.

When current studies on the groundwater surrounding the Anoka
Landfill have been completed, the placement of wells and storage
facilities in the Industrial Area can be better determined.

6
