PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF ih~S~Y <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Remsey City Council conducted a meeting on Tuesday, August 12, 198t~ at the <br />~ameey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., P. amsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmen~er A1Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmen~er Jean Schlueter <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br />Reporter Kathy Cassidy <br /> <br />A~ting Mayor Reimann called the meeting to order at 7:37 p.m. and led in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Jerry Dettinger - 3006 P. aymond - Roseville - Stated that he represents <br />Parabody, Inc. and they are requesting Council review their request for a <br />conditional use permit to operate a manufacturing business in the old Kovar <br />building. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Planning and Zoning has conducted the public hearing and <br />recommends approval of the request. <br /> <br />Council consensus was to place Parabody's request on the agenda. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that citizens have contacted him requesting that <br />Council address a petition that was submitted earlier this year for street <br />improvements to 153rd Lane from P. hinestone to P. amsey Blvd. <br /> <br />Art P. audio- 1404 South Broadway -Sauk Rapids - Requesting council to add a <br />case to the agenda to clarify the escrow amount required from Flintwood III. <br /> <br />Mr. Martley stated that the City was approved for DNR funds for flood <br />assistance; how to proceed should be discussed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hartley stated that Council should address Mayor Heitman's resignation. <br /> <br />Ms. Morris stated that a request to move a house and garage into l~amsey has <br />been submitted; the house must be moved off it's present lot by Aagust 15, <br />1986. <br /> August 12, 1986 <br /> <br /> Page 3 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
