BRNCE BACON <br /> Anne Norris, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Bruce Bacon is requesting a metes and bounds subdivision of approximately <br />10 acres from a 22 acre parcel in the R-1 residential district adjacent to his <br />property. Mr. Bacon is requesting this subdivision in order to split off the <br />ten acres, purchase that property and use it for agricultural purposes and add <br />it on to his property. In addition, Mr. Bacon's neighbor is interested in <br />buying the remaining 12 acres of the 22 acre parcel. <br /> <br />Enclosed for your information are the following items: <br /> <br />a) Site location <br />b) Existing parcel <br />c) Proposed subdivision <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />In the past, the Planning Commission has directed other applicants for metes <br />and bounds subdivisions to proceed with the simple platting process. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Hotion to: <br />Direct Mr. Bacon to subdivide the parcel in accordance with the simple <br />platting process outlined in the City Code. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Dir. <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Super. <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
