Voting No: None. <br /> <br />E. ~blic Meetina On Citizen Partici_Dat~on Plan For The Metro <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that ~unication between the City and Metro Council <br />could be improved, especially on major issues, by following some sort <br />procedure as is used in registered mail. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman requested that Mr. Schnelle prepare a formal proposal of his <br />ideas and ooncerns for Council review. <br /> <br />ApPointment Of Ms. Arlene Stafford To Serve On _District ~1] Advisory_ <br />~oard. ReDlacin~ Ms. Joan ~hune]]: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />approve of the appointment of Ms. Arlene Stafford to the Anoka-Hennepin School <br />District ~11 Advisory Board replacing Ms. Joan ~hunell who resigned. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Oox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />F. Request For Grant Funds For Rum River Brid~e cross~r~: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution ~84-28 in support of Anoka County Resolution ~85-6 relating to <br />Federal funding for the completion of County Road ~116 including a Rum River <br />bridge crossin9. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution ~85-28). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann, $chlueter and Cox. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />(Council inadvertently forgot to waive the reading of the resolution; further <br />action regarding this issue was taken during Case ~7). <br /> <br />Appointment Of Comcilm~6~r To Serve On Joint Law Enforcement Council: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />appoint Councilmember COx to the Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
