Goodrich - Stated that it is a Fub]ic street and the only thing that would address Mr. ~autio's concerns is the weight restrictions on commercial trucks traversing residential streets. Mayor Beitman - Suggested Mr. Pautio contact the l~oliee Department regarding his oonoe ms. Sandra Rautio - Stated that if there is an expansion of the airport that will require so~e road realignment, there will be ewen more heavy equii~nent using the area streets; sealcoating should be delayed until a decision is made on the air~ort issue. Inquired if the open land across the street is being assessed. Mr. Berg - Replied that the land across the street is not being assessed because it is zor)ed Industrial but the cwner cannot develop it as industrial because the road is restricted to 5 tons. Mr. Rautio - Inquired if County Road S116 is realigned along his property, can he install a culvert and access onto $116. Mr. Koshak - Replied that if and when Cry. Rd. $116 is realigned, Mr. Rautio would have to apply to the County for clriveway access. Sandra Rautio - Inquired if she would be assessed for improv~ents to Cry. Rd. $116 if it has to be realigned for airport purposes. Mr. Kosha'k - Replied that the County funds would be used for $116. Sandra Rautio - Noted that the c~ners of industrial zoned land across the street are not being assessed for street impro~,ents and inquired if those property c~ners will ever be granted accesses onto that street. Mayor Heitman - Stated that what he is hearing tonight is 'no'. Motion by Counciolma~ber Reimann and seoonded by Councilma~uber COx to adjourn this public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Counci~rs Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None.
