For your infor- <br />mation, copies of the bids are contained in Enclosure <br />(D2-c). <br /> <br />INFOP~ATION: LETTER FRQM EDC TO MACI REGARDING .PRO- <br />PERTY. TAXES AND RESPONSE FROM MACI <br /> <br />As you recall, at your April 10 meeting you authorized <br />Chairman Greenberg and City staff to draft a letter to <br />the ~[[nnesota Association of Commerce and Industry <br />(MACI) regarding commercial/industrial property taxes <br />in Minnesota. Enclosed in (D2-d) is a COUY of this <br />letter and a response from Mark Anderson, General <br />Counsel of ~%CI. <br /> <br />.INFQ. RMATION; ANOKA COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />PARTNERSH[P <br /> <br />Enclosed in (D2-e) is information regarding the Anoka <br />County Economic Develol~nent Partnership. This organi- <br />zation was formed to promote economic development <br />County wide and to support and complenent local econo- <br />mic development commission and corporation activities, <br />not to compete with th~. This Partnership will be <br />meeting Thursday, May 10 at 1:30 p.m. at Federal Car- <br />tri¢~ge with representatives from Anoka County businesses <br />and communities to go through a strategic planning pro- <br />cess for economic development in Anoka County. <br /> <br /> <br />
